Referral Checks
Referral Checks are made for the verification of the information provided by the applicant and obtaining additional information about previous job performance. This information is then used in reviewing and evaluating the applicant’s background. Comprehensive reference checks are recommended in the health care industry.
The employers should verify the status of all credentials. It is not unusual for applicants to lie on their resumes or employment applications about anything from educational credentials to previous employment. Sometimes it can be rather difficult to detect such resume fraud at first glance. The employers ought to read and check the matters scrupulously, by comparing the dates of graduation with dates of certification.
