Interview Guidelines

An interview is a formal and effective process for the exchange of information and impressions, and is the paramount part of the job-finding process. The employers keenly check the depth of the candidate’s latent and inner motives and qualities such as honesty, benevolence, moral rectitude, and degree of commitment to work, and interpersonal and communication skills, in addition to the educational qualifications, professional expertise, job competency, and working experience. They are deeply interested in what and how much the applicant can ever contribute to their organizations. The following are some of the pivotal factors to be kept in mind while preparing for an interview :

1. Your answers must be concise and precise.
2. Your body languages or speeches should not show carelessness or arrogance, but only the     self- confidence and professionalism.
3. Avoid commenting negatively about your past company/ manager/ employer.
4. You must have thorough knowledge about your field, subject, job, and responsibilities. You must     elegantly demonstrate your ability to do the job better than your competitors.
5. Reckon beforehand your major contributions to the last jobs, and also the priorities in your next job, along     with your long and short-term goals.
6. Your body languages, gestures, thoughts, and deeds should confirm that you are disciplined, honest,      punctual, urbane, and trustworthy.
