The director of finance performs the following main duties:
1. Act as the department head for the department of finance;
2. Prepare, under the supervision of the manager, the budget and expense and income estimates for the organization.
3. Supervise and be responsible for the disbursement of all funds under the control of the organization.
4. Audit and approve prior to payment, all bills, invoices and claims against the organization.
5. Supervise and maintain current inventories of all property of the organization.
6. Perform all the financial and accounting duties.
7. Perform such other duties that may be prescribed by the manager and/or council of the organization.
Qualifications Required :
- Graduate with commerce stream
- MBAs / Post Graduates in any discipline / ICWA / CA

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans that reflect the core values, positioning, and direction of the organization.
• Work with community-facing units to understand and to compellingly and consistently articulate the organization’s value proposition to participating libraries, publishers, and users.
• Cultivate relationships with media professionals; coordinate media interviews and activities in cooperation with colleagues; manage the writing and approval process for all news releases, as well as list-serve communications and blog postings as needed.
• Develop metrics to gauge and report on success in communications and positioning strategy.
• Lead efforts to expand the use of various types of media to promote the organization.
Qualifications Required :
- Graduates in any stream
- PG in Mass communication / Journalism
