Operations Manager

The operations manager plans, devises, directs, and coordinates the operations of the companies or public or private sector organizations. The duties of the operations manager inherently include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the efficient and optimal use of materials and human resources. The duties are too diverse and general, in nature to be classified in any single area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. In some organizations, the duties of the general and operations managers might overlap the duties of the chief executive officers.
